¹³ When ^(A)the Lord saw her, He felt compassion for her, and said to her, “^[a]Do not weep.”

The Seventy Sent Out

10 Now after this ^(A)the Lord appointed ^[a]seventy ^(B)others, and sent them ^(C)in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come.

Instruction about Prayer

11 It happened that while ^[a]Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.”

³⁹ But ^(A)the Lord said to him, “Now ^(B)you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and of the platter; but ^[a]inside of you, you are full of robbery and wickedness.

⁴² And ^(A)the Lord said, “^(B)Who then is the faithful and sensible ^(C)steward, whom his master will put in charge of his ^[a]servants, to give them their rations at the proper time?

¹⁵ But ^(A)the Lord answered him and said, “You hypocrites, ^(B)does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the stall and lead him away to water him?

^5 (A)The apostles said to ^(B)the Lord, “Increase our faith!” ⁶ And ^(C)the Lord said, “If you ^[a]had faith like ^(D)a mustard seed, you would say to this ^(E)mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would ^[b]obey you.

⁶ And ^(A)the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge *said;

⁸ Zaccheus stopped and said to ^(A)the Lord, “Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I ^[a]will give to the poor, and if I have ^(B)defrauded anyone of anything, I ^[b]will give back ^(C)four times as much.”
