¹⁵ But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with ^(A)patience.^[a]

^3 (A)knowing that the testing of your faith produces ^[a]patience. ⁴ But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be ^[b]perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

⁴ so that ^(A)we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God ^(B)for your patience and faith ^(C)in all your persecutions and ^[a]tribulations that you endure, ⁵ which is ^(D)manifest^[b] evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, ^(E)for which you also suffer;

³ And not only that, but ^(A)we also glory in tribulations, ^(B)knowing that tribulation produces ^[a]perseverance; ^4 (C)and perseverance, ^[b]character; and character, hope.
