Luke 9:24-26
Disciples’ Literal New Testament
24 For whoever wants to save[a] his life will lose it. But whoever loses his life for My sake— this one will save it. 25 For what is a person profited— having gained the whole world, but having lost or having forfeited himself ? 26 For whoever is ashamed-of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed-of this one when He comes in the glory of Himself and the Father and the holy angels.
