34 But while he was saying this, a cloud [a]formed and began to overshadow them; and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. 35 And then (A)a voice came from the cloud, saying, “(B)This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!” 36 And when the voice [b]had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And (C)they kept silent, and reported to no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.

34 While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and covered them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. 35 A voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen;(A) listen to him.”(B) 36 When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept this to themselves and did not tell anyone at that time what they had seen.(C)
