³⁶ But ^(A)stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to ^(B)stand before the Son of Man.”

^33 (A)But the Lord said to him, ‘^[a](B)Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.

^2 (A)Beloved, now we are ^(B)children of God, and ^(C)it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He ^(D)appears, we will be ^(E)like Him, because we will ^(F)see Him just as He is. ³ And everyone who has this ^(G)hope set on Him ^(H)purifies himself, just as He is pure.

^11 (A)Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the ^(B)schemes of the devil. ¹² For our ^(C)struggle is not against ^[a](D)flesh and blood, but ^(E)against the rulers, against the powers, against the ^(F)world forces of this ^(G)darkness, against the ^(H)spiritual forces of wickedness in ^(I)the heavenly places. ¹³ Therefore, take up ^(J)the full armor of God, so that you will be able to ^(K)resist on ^(L)the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. ¹⁴ Stand firm therefore, ^(M)having belted your waist with truth, and having ^(N)put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and having ^(O)strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace;
