³⁷ For I tell you, what is written must be fulfilled in Me: And He was counted among the outlaws.^(A)[a] Yes, what is written about Me is coming to its fulfillment.”^(B)

The Judas Kiss

⁴⁷ While^(A) He was still speaking, suddenly a mob was there, and one of the Twelve named Judas was leading them. He came near Jesus to kiss Him,

⁴⁴ Then He told them, “These are My words^(A) that I spoke to you while I was still with you—that everything written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets,^(B) and the Psalms^(C) must be fulfilled.”

¹⁸ I’m not speaking about all of you; I know those I have chosen.^(A) But the Scripture^(B) must be fulfilled:^(C) The one who eats My bread^[a] has raised his heel against Me.^(D)[b]

³ So Judas took a company of soldiers and some temple police from the chief priests and the Pharisees^(A) and came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.
