²⁵ Just^(A) then an expert in the law^(B) stood up to test^(C) Him, saying, “Teacher,^(D) what must I do to inherit eternal life?”^(E)

⁴⁵ One of the experts in the law^(A) answered Him, “Teacher, when You say these things You insult us too.”

³ In response, Jesus asked the law experts^(A) and the Pharisees, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?”^(B)
