Malachi 2:8-10

8 But you, you have turned from the way; you have caused many to stumble by your instruction;[a] you have ruined the covenant of Levi,” says Yahweh of hosts. 9 “And in turn I have made you despised and humbled before all the people, inasmuch as you are not keeping[b] my way, but are favoring your own instruction.”[c]
Yahweh Hates Faithlessness
10 Do we not all have[d] one father? Has not one God created us? Why then are we unfaithful to one another,[e] profaning the covenant of our ancestors?[f]

8 But you have turned from the way(A) and by your teaching have caused many to stumble;(B) you have violated the covenant(C) with Levi,”(D) says the Lord Almighty. 9 “So I have caused you to be despised(E) and humiliated(F) before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality(G) in matters of the law.”(H)
Breaking Covenant Through Divorce
10 Do we not all have one Father[a]?(I) Did not one God create us?(J) Why do we profane the covenant(K) of our ancestors by being unfaithful(L) to one another?
