Malachi 2:8-10
New American Standard Bible
8 But as for you, you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to (A)stumble [a]by the instruction; you have (B)ruined the covenant of Levi,” says the Lord of armies. 9 “So (C)I also have made you despised and of (D)low reputation [b]in the view of all the people, since you are not keeping My ways but are showing (E)partiality in the [c]instruction.”

10 Do we not all have (F)one Father? (G)Is it not one God who has created us? Why do we deal (H)treacherously, each against his brother so as to profane the (I)covenant of our fathers?

8 But you have turned from the way(A) and by your teaching have caused many to stumble;(B) you have violated the covenant(C) with Levi,”(D) says the Lord Almighty. 9 “So I have caused you to be despised(E) and humiliated(F) before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality(G) in matters of the law.”(H)
Breaking Covenant Through Divorce
10 Do we not all have one Father[a]?(I) Did not one God create us?(J) Why do we profane the covenant(K) of our ancestors by being unfaithful(L) to one another?
