²⁷ The people were all so amazed^(A) that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey him.”

¹⁶ Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.^(A)

⁹ Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings.^(A) It is good for our hearts to be strengthened^(B) by grace, not by eating ceremonial foods,^(C) which is of no benefit to those who do so.^(D)
