5 And all the country of Judea and all Jerusalem were going out to him and were being baptized by him in the river Jordan, (A)confessing their sins. 6 Now John was (B)clothed with camel's hair and (C)wore a leather belt around his waist and ate (D)locusts and (E)wild honey. 7 And he preached, saying, (F)“After me comes he who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.

5 The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. 6 John wore clothing made of camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist,(A) and he ate locusts(B) and wild honey. 7 And this was his message: “After me comes the one more powerful than I, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.(C)
