22 But at these words [a]he was saddened, and he went away grieving, for he was one who owned much property.
23 And Jesus, looking around, *said to His disciples, “(A)How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples (B)were amazed at His words. But Jesus *answered again and *said to them, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!

22 At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth.
23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich(A) to enter the kingdom of God!”
