33 “We’re going to Jerusalem. There the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the experts in Moses’ Teachings. They will condemn him to death and hand him over to foreigners. 34 They will make fun of him, spit on him, whip him, and kill him. But after three days he will come back to life.”

35 James and John, sons of Zebedee, went to Jesus. They said to him, “Teacher, we want you to do us a favor.”

33 “We are going up to Jerusalem,”(A) he said, “and the Son of Man(B) will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law.(C) They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles, 34 who will mock him and spit on him, flog him(D) and kill him.(E) Three days later(F) he will rise.”(G)
