Mark 11:11-13

¹¹^(A)And Jesus entered Jerusalem and came into the temple area; and after looking around at everything, ^(B)He left for Bethany with the twelve, since it was already late.

¹²^(C)On the next day, when they had left Bethany, He became hungry. ¹³Seeing from a distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if perhaps He would find anything on it; and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.

¹¹Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courts. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.^(A)

¹²The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. ¹³Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.^(E)
