27 And they come again into Jerusalem. And while He is walking around in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders come to Him. 28 And they were saying to Him, “By what-kind-of [b] authority are You doing these things, or who gave You this authority that you may be doing these things?”

27 They arrived again in Jerusalem, and while Jesus was walking in the temple courts, the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders came to him. 28 “By what authority are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you authority to do this?”
