10 Judas Betrays Jesus.[a] Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the Twelve, went to the chief priests and offered to hand him over to them. 11 They were delighted when they heard his proposal, and they promised to give him money. Then he began to look for an opportunity to betray him.

12 The Preparations for the Passover.[b] On the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread, when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lamb, the disciples said to Jesus, “Where do you want us to go and make the preparations for you to eat the Passover?”
