^10 (A)Then Judas Iscariot, ^(B)who was one of the twelve, went off to the chief priests in order to ^[a]betray Him to them. ¹¹ They were delighted when they heard this, and promised to give him money. And he began seeking how to betray Him at an opportune time.

^3 (A)And ^(B)Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, ^[a]who belonged to the number of the twelve. ⁴ And he left and discussed with the chief priests and ^(C)officers how he was to betray Him to them. ⁵ And they were delighted, and agreed to give him money. ⁶ And so he consented, and began looking for a good opportunity to betray Him to them ^[b]away from the crowd.
