The Judas Kiss
43 While(A) He was still speaking, Judas,(B) one of the Twelve,(C) suddenly arrived. With him was a mob, with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes,(D) and the elders.(E) 44 His betrayer had given them a signal. “The One I kiss,” he said, “He’s the One; arrest Him and take Him away under guard.” 45 So when he came, he went right up to Him and said, “Rabbi!”(F)—and kissed Him.

Jesus Arrested(A)
43 Just as he was speaking, Judas,(B) one of the Twelve, appeared. With him was a crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests, the teachers of the law, and the elders.
44 Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him and lead him away under guard.” 45 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Rabbi!”(C) and kissed him.
