5 For this ointment could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii[a] and (A)given to the poor.” And they (B)scolded her. 6 But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 7 For (C)you always have the poor with you, and whenever (D)you want, you can do good for them. But (E)you will not always have me.

6 “Leave her alone,” said Jesus. “Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 7 The poor you will always have with you,[b] and you can help them any time you want.(A) But you will not always have me.
