5 For it could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii, and the money given to the poor. And they grudged against her.
6 And Jesus said, Let her be in rest. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work on me. 7 For you will have the poor with you always, and whenever you wish, you may do them good. But me you will not have always.

6 “Leave her alone,” said Jesus. “Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 7 The poor you will always have with you,[b] and you can help them any time you want.(A) But you will not always have me.
