⁶⁵Then some began to spit on Him, to blindfold Him, and to beat Him, saying, “Prophesy!”^(A) The temple police^(B) also took Him and slapped Him.

⁶⁵Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, “Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him.^(A)

⁶⁴After blindfolding Him, they kept^[a] asking, “Prophesy! Who hit You?”

⁶⁴They blindfolded him and demanded, “Prophesy! Who hit you?”
