29 And they that went by, railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, (A)Hey, thou that destroyest the Temple, and buildest it in three days,

30 Save thyself, and come down from the cross.

31 Likewise also even the high Priests mocking, said among themselves with the Scribes, He saved other men, himself he cannot save.

29 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads(A) and saying, “So! You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days,(B) 30 come down from the cross and save yourself!” 31 In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked him(C) among themselves. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself!
