Mark 15:33-35

33 (A)When the [a](B)sixth hour came, darkness [b]fell over the whole land until the [c](C)ninth hour. 34 At the (D)ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “(E)Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” 35 When some of the bystanders heard it, they began saying, “Behold, He is calling for Elijah.”

33 At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.(B) 34 And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[a](C)
35 When some of those standing near heard this, they said, “Listen, he’s calling Elijah.”
