5 But Jesus yet answered nothing, so that Pilate marvelled.
6 Now at that feast it was customary that he release unto them one prisoner, whoever they desired.
7 And there was one named Barabbas, who lay bound with those that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.

6 Now it was the custom at the festival to release a prisoner whom the people requested. 7 A man called Barabbas was in prison with the insurrectionists who had committed murder in the uprising.
