¹⁴ Later, He appeared to the Eleven^(A) themselves as they were reclining at the table. He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who saw Him after He had been resurrected.^(B)

The Reality of the Risen Jesus

³⁶ And^(A) as they were saying these things, He Himself stood among them. He said to them, “Peace^(B) to you!”

The Disciples Commissioned

¹⁹ In the evening of that first day of the week,^(A) the disciples were gathered together with the doors locked because of their fear of the Jews. Then Jesus came, stood among them, and said to them, “Peace to you!”^(B)

²⁶ After eight days His disciples were indoors again, and Thomas was with them. Even though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them. He said, “Peace to you!”

⁴¹ not by all the people, but by us, witnesses appointed beforehand by God, who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.^(A)
