6 ¶ [a]And the Pharisees departed, and straightway gathered a council with the [b]Herodians against him, that they might destroy him.
7 But Jesus avoided with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude followed him from Galilee, and from Judea,
8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and [c]beyond Jordan: and they that dwelled about Tyre and Sidon, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him in great number.

6 Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians(A) how they might kill Jesus.(B)

7 Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed.(D) 8 When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon.(E)
