Jesus calms the storm

³⁵That day, when it was evening, Jesus said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side.”

³⁶They left the crowd, and took him with them in the boat he’d been in. There were other boats with him too.

³⁷A big windstorm blew up. The waves beat on the boat, and it quickly began to fill.

³⁵That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” ³⁶Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat.^(B) There were also other boats with him. ³⁷A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped.
