²When Jesus got out of the boat,^(A) a man with an impure spirit^(B) came from the tombs to meet him.

²¹When Jesus had crossed again in the boat^[a] to the other side, a great crowd gathered around him, and he was by the sea.^(A)

²¹When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake,^(B) a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake.^(C)
