²²Then one of the synagogue leaders,^(A) named Jairus, came, and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet.

²¹For since ancient times, Moses has had those who proclaim him in every city, and every Sabbath day he is read aloud in the synagogues.”^(A)

²¹For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.”^(A)
