Mark 7:34-36

³⁴Jesus looked up toward heaven, and with a groan he said, “Effatha!”^[a] which means “Open up!” ³⁵At once the man could hear, and he had no more trouble talking clearly.

³⁶Jesus told the people not to say anything about what he had done. But the more he told them, the more they talked about it.

³⁴He looked up to heaven^(A) and with a deep sigh^(B) said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). ³⁵At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.^(C)
