¹³ He was in the wilderness 40 days, being tempted^(A) by Satan.^(B) He was with the wild animals,^(C) and the angels^(D) began to serve Him.

¹⁵ These^[a] are the ones along the path^(A) where the word is sown: when they hear, immediately Satan^(B) comes and takes away the word^(C) sown in them.^[b]

³³ But turning around and looking at His disciples, He rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind Me, Satan,^(A) because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns,^[a] but man’s!”
