⁸But do not be called Rabbi (Teacher); for One is your Teacher, and you are all [equally] brothers.

⁸“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers.

⁸But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

¹⁰Do not let yourselves be called leaders or teachers; for One is your Leader (Teacher), the Christ.

¹⁰Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah.

¹⁰Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
