²⁶Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,^(A)

³⁵And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, ^(A)“If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

³⁵Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”^(A)
