² “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son. ³ He sent forth his servants to summon those who had been invited to the banquet, but they refused to come. ⁴ Then he sent other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, “Behold, my banquet has been prepared, my oxen and my fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.” ’
