¹⁵^(A) I promise you the day of judgment will be easier for the towns of Sodom and Gomorrah^[a] than for that town.

10.15 Sodom and Gomorrah: During the time of Abraham the Lord destroyed these towns because the people there were so evil.

¹⁵Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah^(A) on the day of judgment^(B) than for that town.^(C)

¹²^(A) I tell you that on the day of judgment the people of Sodom will get off easier than the people of that town!
