10 This is the one about whom it [a]is written:
‘(A)Behold, I am sending My messenger [b]ahead of You,Who will prepare Your way before You.’
14 And if you are willing to accept it, John himself is (A)Elijah who [a]was to come.
2 (A)just as it is written in Isaiah the prophet:
“(B)Behold, I am sending My messenger [a]before You,Who will prepare Your way;
76 And you, child, also will be called the (A)prophet of (B)the Most High;For you will go on (C)before the Lord to (D)prepare His ways;
27 This is the one about whom it is written:
