¹⁹ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Behold, a gluttonous man and a ^[a]drunkard, ^(A)a friend of tax collectors and ^[b]sinners!’ Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds.”

¹⁶ When ^(A)the scribes of the Pharisees saw that He was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they said to His disciples, “^(B)Why is He eating and drinking with tax collectors and ^[a]sinners?”
