16 And he warned them that they should not reveal his identity,[a] 17 in order that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah would be fulfilled, who said,

18 “Behold my servant whom I have chosen,
    my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased.
I will put my Spirit on him,
    and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.
