Matthew 12:25-29
New American Standard Bible 1995
25 (A)And (B)knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, “[a]Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and [b]any city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26 If (C)Satan casts out Satan, he [c]is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? 27 If I (D)by [d]Beelzebul cast out demons, (E)by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason they will be your judges. 28 But (F)if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 Or how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.

Matthew 12:25-29
New International Version
25 Jesus knew their thoughts(A) and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan(B) drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? 27 And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul,(C) by whom do your people(D) drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God(E) has come upon you.
29 “Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house.
Luke 11:17-22
New American Standard Bible 1995
17 (A)But He knew their thoughts and said to them, “[a]Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against [b]itself falls. 18 If (B)Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by (C)Beelzebul. 19 And if I by (D)Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? So they will be your judges. 20 But if I cast out demons by the (E)finger of God, then (F)the kingdom of God has come upon you. 21 When [c]a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are [d]undisturbed. 22 But when someone stronger than he attacks him and overpowers him, he takes away from him all his armor on which he had relied and distributes his plunder.

Luke 11:17-22
New International Version
17 Jesus knew their thoughts(A) and said to them: “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. 18 If Satan(B) is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebul. 19 Now if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God,(C) then the kingdom of God(D) has come upon you.
21 “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. 22 But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up his plunder.
