²² Now the one sown among the thorns—this is one who hears the word, but the worries of this age^(A) and the seduction^[a] of wealth^(B) choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

¹⁹ but the worries^(A) of this age,^(B) the seduction^[a](C) of wealth,^(D) and the desires^(E) for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.^(F)

¹⁴ For if I pray in another language, my spirit^(A) prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.^(B)

²² But the fruit of the Spirit^(A) is love,^(B) joy,^(C) peace, patience,^(D) kindness,^(E) goodness, faith,^[a]

¹¹ Don’t participate in the fruitless^(A) works of darkness, but instead expose them.
