26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a spirit”; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spoke unto them, saying, “Be of good cheer. It is I; be not afraid.”
28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it be Thou, bid me come unto Thee on the water.”

26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,”(A) they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage!(B) It is I. Don’t be afraid.”(C)
28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
