13 Now when Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Who do men say [a]that the Son of man is? 14 And they said, Some say John the Baptist; some, Elijah; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But who say ye that I am?

14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist;(B) others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”(C)
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
