Matthew 16:26-28 New Life Version (NLV)

26 For what does a man have if he gets all the world and loses his own soul? What can a man give to buy back his soul? 27 The Son of Man will come in the greatness of His Father with His angels. Then He will give to every man his pay as he has worked. 28 For sure, I tell you, there are some standing here that will not die until they see the Son of Man coming as King.”

Matthew 16:26-28 New International Version (NIV)

26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

28 “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

Matthew 16:26-28 King James Version (KJV)

26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
