¹⁹ Then the disciples came to Jesus and asked him privately, “Why were we not able to cast it out?” ²⁰ He answered, “Because you have such little faith. Amen, I say to you, if you have faith as tiny as a mustard seed, you will be able to say to this mountain: ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. [ ²¹ But this kind of demon does not come out except by prayer and fasting.]”^[a]
