²⁴As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold^[a] was brought to him.

Matthew 18:24 Greek ten thousand talents; a talent was worth about 20 years of a day laborer’s wages.

¹³And he called ten of his own slaves and gave them ten ^[a]minas, and said to them, ‘Do business with this money ^[b]until I come back.’

¹³So he called ten of his servants^(A) and gave them ten minas.^[a] ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’
