Matthew 18:5-7

5 And whoever welcomes[a] one child like this in My name welcomes Me.
6 “But whoever causes the downfall of one of these little ones who believe in Me—it would be better for him if a heavy millstone[b] were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depths of the sea!(A) 7 Woe to the world because of offenses. For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes.(B)

Causing to Stumble
6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.(B) 7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!(C)
