5 And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me; 6 but (A)whoever (B)causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a [a]heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea.

7 “Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For (C)it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; nevertheless, woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes!

6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.(B) 7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!(C)
