⁴² “But whoever causes the downfall of one of these little ones who believe in Me^(A)—it would be better for him if a heavy millstone^[a](B) were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

³⁵ “I am^(A) the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “No one who comes to Me^(B) will ever be hungry,^(C) and no one who believes in Me^(D) will ever be thirsty^(E) again.

³⁸ The one who believes in Me,^(A) as the Scripture^(B) has said,^[a] will have streams of living water^(C) flow^(D) from deep within him.”

²⁵ Jesus said to her, “I am^(A) the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me,^(B) even if he dies, will live.^{(C) 26} Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die—ever.^(D) Do you believe this?”
