Jesus Blesses the Little Children(A)
13 Then some little children were brought to him so that he might lay his hands on them and pray. But the disciples rebuked those who brought[a] them. 14 Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from[b] heaven belongs to people like these.” 15 When he had laid his hands on them, he went on from there.

13 Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them(B) and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them.
14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs(C) to such as these.”(D) 15 When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.

But the disciples rebuked those who brought[c] them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he became furious and told them, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom of God belongs to people like these. 15 I tell all of you[d] with certainty, whoever doesn’t receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.” 16 Then after he had hugged the children,[e] he tenderly blessed them as he laid his hands on them.

He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.(B) 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”(C) 16 And he took the children in his arms,(D) placed his hands on them and blessed them.
