¹³“He replied to one of them, ‘Friend, I’m doing you no wrong. Didn’t you agree with me on a denarius?^(A)

Matthew 20:13

New International Version

¹³“But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend.^(A) Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius?

⁵⁰“Friend,”^(A) Jesus asked him, “why have you come?”^[a]

Then they came up, took hold of Jesus, and arrested Him.

Matthew 26:50 Or Jesus told him, “do what you have come for.” (as a statement)

⁵⁰Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.”^[a]^(A)

Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him.
